District 6 Planning Council A volunteer board of residents and business owners in District 6 representing the interests of residents and business owners in the district. Land Use Task Force A related but autonomous volunteer board of residents and business owners dealing with issues concerning land use, zoning and construction in the district. Crime and Safety Committee The Crime and Safety Committee meets on the second Monday of every month to discuss neighborhood crime and public safety issues, and works in an advisory capacity to encourage residential and commercial property owners to improve or maintain their property through compliance with municipal code regulations, and works to promote the building of a sense of community in the neighborhoods through the promotion of block club formation, National Night Out events, and organized neighborhood walks. Capitol Region Watershed District A board of volunteer citizens and local officials who meet to discuss watershed issues. Community Groups, Non-Profits etc. SPARC Formerly North End Area Revitalization, a non-profit redevelopment agency in the North End Corridor Housing Initiative Redevelopment initiatives sponsored by Center4Neighorhoods Vintage Place A non-profit organization focused on re-orienting troubled youth Eureka Recycling A large non-profit recycler providing recycling services to Saint Paul Keystone Community Services A community-based human service organization serving the Midway and North End areas of St. Paul Adopt-A-Classroom North End-South Como Block Nurse Program Festive Occasions:Rice Street Festival An annual festival and parade in late July celebrating the Rice Street Neighborhood!
